We'll be reading "The Thankful Book" by Todd Parr, and creating 3-D family pictures with natural materials while we chat about our families and why we're thankful for them!
Each “Story-time in the Park” session will feature an art and/or sensory experience that connects with the story. These creative experiences will give children opportunities to process what we've read, interacting with the characters and symbols of the story in a hands on, age appropriate context, promoting both language and literacy development while engaging the senses and encouraging creative expression.
Designed for children ages 1 – 5 years, though open to younger and older depending on their age/developmental level and personal preference.
