  • Location: 4028 Carya Dr, Raleigh, NC 27610

Come join us for an adventure… an artifact adventure! This guided program challenges participants to identify artifacts around Oak View with an "I spy" inspired game. Adventurers will be given close-up pictures and clues about artifacts and will be asked to find the matching artifact inside our buildings. Participants will learn about each artifact and how the artifact fits into Oak View’s history.

The Artifact Adventure program is open to all ages, and is best suited for elementary to middle school-aged children and their caregivers. Registration is required for all participants, and walk-up registration is available. The tour will take place primarily outdoors and in non-climate-controlled historic buildings and will include walking between the buildings.

The program will begin in the Farm History Center (our visitors center building). Please check in with park staff upon your arrival. We will run the program rain or shine, so please come prepared with weather appropriate clothing. In order for us to prepare for the program, if you find you are unable to attend the program, please let us know as soon as possible.
