Zine Folk NC is a day-long celebration of zines, small press comics & print media coming to Raleigh, North Carolina. Zine Folk NC came about in order to meet the needs of North Carolina’s growing zine maker and independent comics community. We love what we do, and we want to expand our reach by educating the city of Raleigh on the collective power of independent voices, physical media, and building true community. One of the best and easiest ways to foster this is by sharing the art of making and trading zines.
Our event schedule is now live - check website! We have two floors of exhibitor tables featuring NC-based zine makers and independent comic artists, a classroom with hands-on workshops throughout the day, snacks and drinks available courtesy of Artspace concessions, and a live zine-reading hour.
Space will be limited for our hands-on workshops (materials provided), so we ask that you please sign up ahead of time if you want to guarantee a spot. Links to these workshops are now live on our event schedule page!
Zine Folk NC is absolutely free to attend! We do encourage visitors to bring money to purchase from our exhibitors, as well as bring your own zines to trade.
