STEM Behind the Badge with Fuquay Varina Police Department
Join us at iCode Fuquay-Varina for STEM Behind the Badge, a special visit from the Fuquay-Varina Police Department!
Children ages 6-14 and their families will get an up-close look at how technology is used by law enforcement and first responders, including demonstrations of a police robot and drone. Officers will also talk with students about how the STEM skills they’re learning today can translate into real-world careers.
We may even put our robots to the test with a friendly iCode vs. Police robot race or obstacle course!
The event is free and open to the public, so bring the family, ask questions, see some incredible technology in action, and discover how STEM is being used right here in our community.
