Sensory-Friendly Winter Rides at New Hope Valley Railway

Looking for a fun and relaxing way to celebrate the holiday season during the week? Join us for our Sensory-Friendly Winter Rides! These special midweek rides are perfect for school groups, senior centers, families, and anyone who prefers a calmer holiday experience.
Choose from departures at 10:30am or 12:00pm and enjoy a scenic train ride through our beautifully decorated railway, complete with festive Christmas lights and holiday displays in a peaceful setting. To help create a more comfortable experience for all guests, our train crew will provide advance notice before the locomotive horn is sounded.
Santa won't be riding the train during these special departures because he'll be back at the North Pole, tending to the reindeer. Even without Santa onboard, you'll still enjoy the magic of the season as you travel through our festive holiday displays aboard our vintage train.
Last year's Winter Ride was a guest favorite, so we've added a second departure this year to welcome even more guests. Reserve your seats early and enjoy a memorable holiday outing in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere!
