Read a children’s book while you enjoy a nature walk at several Wake County Park locations. The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, Vermont, and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.

From June 6-28, visit the new American Tobacco Trail StoryWalk®, "I (Don't) Like Snakes" written by Nicola Davies and illustrated by Luciano Lozano.
From June 1–27, visit the brand new Beech Bluff StoryWalk®, "Opal Lee and What It Means to Be Free: The True Story of the Grandmother of Juneteenth" written by Alice Faye Duncan and illustrated by Keturah A. Bobo.
From June 3-30, visit Crowder's new StoryWalk® "Otters Under Water," written and illustrated by Jim Arnosky.
From June 1st-30th, Oak View's brick walkways will feature the children's book "So Many Years: A Juneteenth Story," written by Anne Wynter and illustrated by Jerome Pumphrey.
From June 3 –30, visit the new Yates Mill StoryWalk®, "Over In A River," written by Marianne Berkes and illustrated by Jill Dubin.
From June 1-30, visit the new Lake Crabtree StoryWalk®, "Rainbow Fish" written and illustrated by Marcus Pfister.
