Kickoff Summer Reading with Wake County Library

The Summer Reading Program runs June 7 – Aug. 15, 2026.

All kids and teens are invited to participate in Summer Reading. Any reading counts toward your goal — whether you’re listening to audiobooks, reading magazines, following a recipe, enjoying a graphic novel, exploring a web article, doing homework or even sharing a bedtime story!

Participate in Summer Reading by:

Reading! Mark every day you read and visit for an incentive every ten days of reading.
Visit the library. Fill out a raffle ticket and be entered in a monthly prize drawing.
Attend a program. We can’t wait to see you!
