Battle of Bentonville

Join us as we commemorate the 161st anniversary of the Battle of Bentonville. Learn about the Carolinas Campaign, stroll through camps, smell the smoke from historic weapons demonstrations, and enjoy living history crafts.
We will have living history displays of medicine and trades during the Civil War! You won't want to miss either of these areas. We have some of the finest living historians in @nc_historicsites. Walk through the Harper House and experience a field hospital and talk to our medical demonstrators. Watch as living historians demonstrate some of the trades that an army needs to keep itself on the move!
Historic weapons demonstrations including both small arms and artillery are scheduled for 11:00am, 1:00pm, and 3:00pm.
