Theatre In The Park presents A Christmas Carol. This musical comedy version of the Dickens classic has been performed annually since 1974! Join us this holiday season. Believe again in the magic of Christmas!
Theatre In The Park is delighted to announce that its founding Artistic Director, Ira David Wood III, will return to the stage this holiday season in his beloved production of A Christmas Carol. After a celebrated 50-year run as Ebenezer Scrooge, Wood will step into a new role this year: the whimsical Lamplighter.
Wood officially passed the role of Scrooge to his son, Ira David Wood IV, in 2023. Yet his connection to the show remains as strong as ever. Not only will he continue to direct the production, but by stepping into the role of the Lamplighter he will once again bring his warmth and presence back to the stage, something local audiences have cherished for decades.
