Dynamix Performing Arts Academy Presents a Community Theatre production of - Annie the Musical - .With equal measures of spunk, pluck, and positivity, little orphan Annie charms hearts and lifts spirits despite her "hard-knock life" in a 1930s New York City orphanage. Annie is determined to find the parents who left her on the orphanage's doorstep years ago, and with the help of the other girls, she escapes into the wondrous city.
In a stroke of luck, Annie is selected to spend a Christmas holiday with the famously wealthy and curmudgeonly Oliver "Daddy" Warbucks. While her presence initially disrupts his world, Annie and her lovable stray dog, Sandy, quickly win the hearts of Warbucks, his secretary Grace Farrell, and the entire household staff.
Meanwhile, the cruel and embittered orphanage matron, Miss Hannigan, and her equally villainous brother Rooster and his girlfriend Lily St. Regis scheme to claim a reward offered for Annie's parents. In a series of fun-filled adventures, Annie foils their nefarious plans, touches the hearts of even President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and ultimately finds a new home and family. Filled with unforgettable songs such as "Tomorrow," "It's the Hard-Knock Life," and "Easy Street," Annie is a timeless, heartwarming musical for the whole family.
