Cary Ballet Company presents Tchaikovsky's holiday tradition of ”The Nutcracker,” in Raleigh. Begin your holiday season with this classical performance, featuring over 130 dancers in glittering costumes, and breath-taking scenes complete with enchanted dolls, the magical “Cary Land of Sweets, ” heroic prince, the evil Mouse Queen and a few surprises, too.
This one-hour narrated matinee designed as a perfect introduction for kids of all ages. The program begins with a bare stage and a mini class, then invites the audience to watch the magic unfold as lights, music, props, and dancers transform the stage performing excerpts from The Nutcracker. See firsthand how this beloved ballet comes to life, from studio to stage!
