  • Cost: Admission ($5-$20) Plus $10 for Non-members guests or $8 for NC Zoo Society members.

It's time for some spooky fun!

Join us for two weekends of family-friendly Halloween celebration at the Africa Loop and Amphitheatre.

What to expect:
Trick-or-Treating along the Africa Loop (9 a.m. - 3 p.m.)
Costume Contests with age groups for everyone (Contest at 12 p.m.)
Festive Games, face painting, and crafts
New this year: Check out the Boo Quiet Sensory Area at Oak Hill!

Thanks to our friends at Sexton Farms, you can take home a small pumpkin from our pumpkin patch (while supplies last)!

Get your wristbands at the admission booths (extra cost in addition to Zoo admission).

Event is scheduled for October 18, 19, 25 & 26, 2025.
