Nature Detectives: Bird Nerds

  • Cost: $18 per participant, with a 20% discount for Friends of the Museum Members.

Join us for classes designed especially for homeschool and track-out students. These 90-minute classes allow us to delve deeper into topics and incorporate additional learning experiences.

From cardinals to hawks, herons to woodpeckers, birds are an ever-present joy of urban wildlife. Join us as we dive into the wonderful world of birds, exploring bird identification and behavior, and learning how scientists study birds.

Participants must be 9 to 12 years old for this program.

This is a drop-off program. Adults need to remain onsite or nearby during the program. Please note that this program occurs entirely outdoors.

Registration is required via on the website. Registration ends 36 hours prior to program start time.
