Cary's Take a Child Outside Week

Family Night in Nature
This program is for ages 8 and older.

Spend some quality time experiencing the fun of being together at Hemlock Bluffs with your family. Explore the forest as the sun is going down. Then listen to nature stories around a campfire. Registration covers four family members.

Take A Child Outside is an international program encouraging children and adults to spend time together outdoors. It first began in North Carolina and has since spread across the nation and other countries. It is a week-long event with the goal of helping children develop a better understanding and appreciation of the environment and an enthusiasm for exploring the natural world.
