FRoG Fall Scavenger Hunt

Hopping along the Greenway with the FRoG Fall Scavenger Hunt – Explore the Greenway
September 19 through October 26, 2025, and in partnership with Raleigh Parks, FRoG is launching a city-wide scavenger hunt across the Capital Area Greenway. We’ve hidden 15 hand-decorated frogs and critters, along with significant locations and art installations to be found, all across the trails—find them, scan the QR, and log your points—it’s your mission to discover as many as you can.
All clues and a map can be found below so you can plan your routes, team up with friends, and hop into action on your own schedule. Frogs, critters, and landmarks will remain in place for the duration of the event, giving you plenty of time to explore new trails, revisit old favorites, and enjoy the greenway all across the city.
Each frog and critter has a unique QR code—scan it and log your find to earn points. Prizes will be awarded to the top finders, and everyone who participates gets entered into weekly drawings. The more you hop, the more chances you have to win!
How it Works
Find the Animals (20+ handcrafted animals: frogs, birds, turtles, more)
Leave them in place (they don’t move)
Scan & Log (QR code on each)
Map It (interactive Google Map)
Follow the Clues (trailhead signs: “You’re Getting Close!”)
Prizes include FRoG water bottles & patches, gift cards, and a Grand Prize
