Finley Frenzy Youth Triathlons at AE Finley YMCA

Each year the YMCA of the Triangle introduces more than 200 kids ages 7 - 14 to triathlons. We host a youth triathlon in North Raleigh in the late summer.
The course is age-specific and kids compete in certain age groups. The 2025 Finley Frenzy takes place Sunday, August 24 on the grounds of the A.E. Finley YMCA.

The YMCA also offers a five-week training program to help participants get prepared for the race.
Parents are expected to remain onsite (fields and gyms) as the primary supervisor of their child. This includes taking their children to the restroom and addressing any challenges that may arise. This allows our coaches to focus on leading practices and games. In addition, YMCA sports staff will be present at all practices and games.
