This free 2-hour, 2.5 mile trolley tour will cover the history of the buildings, land and legacy of Dorothea Dix; the current use of the area as the headquarters of the Department of Health and Human Services; and the next steps the City is taking to plan the future of the park.
The trolley is accessible with lift access. You will be invited to exit the trolley at times which may take place in grass and on uneven surfaces. Closed-toe shoes are recommended.
While free to attend, space is limited. Registration is required. This program is free thanks to Dix Park Conservancy donors.
