Kids' Bike Safety & Helmet Giveaway
Join us at the Fuquay-Varina Growers Market on August 16th, 2025 for our Kids' Bike Safety & Helmet Giveaway event! This fun and educational day is designed to keep kids safe while they enjoy riding their bikes.
What to Expect:
Free Helmets: We’ll be giving away free helmets (while supplies last) to ensure kids are properly protected.
Bike Safety Tips: Local experts will provide essential bike safety skills and safe riding practices.
Community Engagement: Families can connect with local resources and enjoy a morning at the market together.
From June 28 - August 16, 2025 (from 9:30AM - 11:30AM) and in partnership with the Poe Center for Health Education, the Fuquay-Varina Chamber of Commerce, and Wake County’s Child Nutrition Division, the Growers Market is proud to have been selected once again as a Summer Meal Program site in southern Wake County.
ALL Children 18 years and younger are eligible to receive a breakfast. There is no cost to you.
Children will need to eat their meals on-site.
Free face painting for participating kids.
Nutrition and wellness activities will be offered.
Children will be supervised by trained and vetted interns.
