Friends of the City of Raleigh Museum in collaboration with Artist Studio Project Publishing and Wake County Public Libraries invite you to our Fourth Annual International Children’s Day.
We all have an inner child and stories have a way of awakening the magic in all of us. Come join us for a free, fun-filled day of storytelling and magic for the whole family.
Two Featured Performances:
Master Puppeteer Tarish “Jeghetto” Pipkins: A crowd-favorite performance that brings incredible energy and imagination to the stage.
Musical Book Launch: Experience the debut of Pepito y Los Basureros | Pepito & The Trash Cans!
Luke Vandergriff will perform original songs from the book using musical instruments he personally crafted from trash—just like the character Pepito!
Meet 11 incredible North Carolina creators, hear them read from their award-winning books, and get your copies personalized. See website for details.
