Donations, Sponsorships Needed for Hope + Vine Day of Service: The Wake Forest nonprofit Hope + Vine will hold its third annual Widow Project on May 17 and is seeking donations and sponsorships. Volunteers will gather in the Wake Forest Historic District to provide free yard cleanup for a local widow, part of a community-focused event that also supports young women who have aged out of foster care. Proceeds from this fundraiser support Hope + Vine’s year-round programs that provide employment, mentoring, and resources to help women build stable, independent lives.
