The Morrisville Environment & Stormwater Committee (MESC) is joining the Western Wake Farmers Market to celebrate Earth Day! The theme for the year is ‘Compost: Nature’s Superhero’ which will be woven into all MESC outreach events, including Earth Day. There will be children’s activities, a chance to win tabletop compost bins, kids gardening tool sets, and more as we spread awareness on the value of composting including the Town’s new food waste collection carts. There will also be a milkweed seed giveaway as part of the Town’s commitment to the Mayors Monarch Pledge.
