Free Stuff Market Raleigh

Absolutely no cash, bartering, or swaps. This market is about community and sharing what we no longer need!
How does it work?
1) Gather your items in good useable condition and pack them into your car.
2) Park your car at the event and open your trunk or set up a blanket, tarp, tent, or table laying your stuff out. Please label anything you don't want taken (tables, boxes, lawn chairs, etc "NOT FREE")
3) Go around and pick out the items you like from other trunks/piles. Please lock your car if left unattended. Don't forget to remove anything from your trunk that's not for the taking and bring your reusable bags or boxes to carry stuff!
4) If you bring items that have not been taken by the time you leave, please take them back with you.
5) Enjoy all your awesome new stuff!
Don't have anything to gift? No worries! Everybody in the community is invited and welcome to come take what they like. We will be conveniently located in Raleigh's historic Capital District 3 blocks north of Moore Square making this event more accessible for anybody traveling by bus. If you are coming by bus, arrangements can be made for next day delivery of your chosen items in Raleigh if you message me ahead of time.

GIFTING STUFF: Set up any time after 12 noon. No need to sign up, just show up. We highly encourage you to enforce our rules within your set-up spot. Please don't hesitate to speak up if somebody is trying to take something before the start time or standing too close for comfort (or find an event organizer to assist). Rules are lame, but this is the only way to ensure that everybody in the community has an equal opportunity to get the things they need most. We would greatly appreciate your support in that effort.
