Cary Ballet Company presents the full-length ballet Coppélia, a whimsical fable about Dr. Coppélius, a dollmaker who creates a lifelike mechanical doll named Coppélia. Her beauty fools the villagers, including Franz, who becomes infatuated with her. His fiancée, Swanhilda, decides to reveal the truth about Coppélia and win back Franz's affection. Through a clever plan, Swanhilda aims to reclaim his love and ensure their marriage.
