Have you wanted to get into fishing but are unsure where to start?

Starting at Lake Wheeler will get you going on the right foot for the season. Stop by the park office and learn about the Rod and Reel Tackle Loaner program where you can borrow a pole for fishing. Bait is not included.

Intro to Fishing Classes
Experienced Park staff show you the ins and outs of bank fishing at the pond at Lake Wheeler. Supplies are provided but you are welcome to bring your own.
