Boy Scout Pinewood Derby at Triangle Town Center

- Location: 5959 Triangle Town Blvd., Raleigh, NC 27616
- Cost: $5 to register as a competitor. Spectators are free.
Registration open January 15, 2025.
Open until February 16, 2025, 11:59pm EDT in order to allow for award certificate and race software lead time.
Inspection and Weigh-In: Friday night prior to race day — February 21, 2025 5:30PM to 7:30PM (mall closes at 8pm)
The Derby rules have been updated for 2025. Please read all the rules regarding height, weight, length, wheelbase and construction methods. Just because the car was “OK” in your Unit race does not mean that it will pass inspection at the District level.
The event will begin promptly at 10:30am Eastern with an opening ceremony followed by an awards ceremony fore the Craftsmanship and Originality competitions. Individual race heats for the Speed competition take place after, followed by the Grand Finals and concluding with a final Awards Ceremony.
Racers not checked in by 7:30 PM Friday, February 21 will be removed from the heat schedules.
