Break the Silence 5K: Sigma Pi Rho Chapter's Rally for Suicide Awareness and Prevention
Our mission for the Break the Silence 5k is to eradicate the stigma surrounding mental health. Through our annual event, we raise funds for local organizations dedicated to mental health awareness and crisis intervention. Join us in breaking the silence, fostering open conversations, and building a supportive community where everyone's voice is heard. Together, we aim for a world where mental health takes precedence, ensuring that no one faces their challenges alone.
A major highlight of the event is its charitable impact. Seventy-five percent of the proceeds from the Break the Silence 5K Fun Run will be donated to the Foundation of Hope, a local initiative dedicated to enhancing mental health support in the Triangle community. The remaining 25% of the proceeds will be contributed to the Sigma Pi national organization’s Bonds of Brotherhood initiative, which promotes mental health awareness within the fraternity community.
Registration includes T-shirt, Race bib, and Wristband.
