Valentine Box Contest at Holly Springs Farmers Market

We'd love to see your creative Valentine Boxes at the farmers market!
Create a valentine box using the following guidelines:
- make the box at home and bring it to market on 2/8
- small enough to fit in a traditional paper grocery bag
- made from scratch - no "kits"
- an opening big enough to fit cards
We'll be giving awards for different age groups! You could win a gift certificate or market swag.
Drop your creation off at the farmers market information tent at 9:00 a.m. and our customers can vote for their favorite. We will ask you to fill out a sheet with your contact information so we can contact our winners and arrange pickup. If it is raining or windy we will move the boxes into the Cultural Center lobby so they don't get damaged.
We'll also have a valentine craft so kids (and adults) can color valentines for their favorite vendor(s).
Farmers markets are essential to the livelihood of farmers and food producers.
They offer an efficient way for residents to obtain a diversity of healthy foods while directly supporting the local economy.
