Parents' Day Out at City of Raleigh Museum

- Cost: All day: $70 first child/$45 for each additional child in the family. Drop ins: $25 per hr first kid/$20 per hr each additional kid in the family.
Support parents in theatre while shopping local this holiday season!
Parents and caregivers can enjoy an afternoon out around Raleigh on Saturday, December 21st while your kids (ages 4-11) enjoy theatre games and crafts with Seed Art Share’s teaching artists! Founded in 2010, Seed Art Share is a Raleigh-based theatre that produces immersive, site-specific theatre and runs childcare programs that allow parents of young children to participate in local theatre. The event will last 4 hours from 10am-2pm. Drop-ins are permitted (see our schedule below to ensure your kids get to do the part of the event they want!) at $25/hr per child for the first child and $20/hr per child for each additional child in the family. Your child will enjoy a scavenger hunt in the historic City of Raleigh Museum while learning about local history; play theatre games with interactive holiday stories; make crafts; and create a holiday e-card that can be sent to grandparents, family, and friends (while learning about the magic of film, SFX, and green screen technology)!
Day Schedule:
9:45-10 - Check-in
10 - 11 - Museum scavenger hunt/E-cards start*
11-12 - Ornament crafting
12-12:30 - Snack time
12:30-1:30 - Interactive holiday stories
1:30-2 - Wrap up games 2:00-2:15 - Check out
*E-cards will be happening all day concurrently with other programming*
