Free and open to everyone, the Diwali Festival (12PM - 3PM) will feature enchanting music, vibrant dance performances, hands-on arts and crafts activities, board games, a cricket demonstration, and a henna tattoo artist.
Prior to the start of the afternoon’s festivities, take a few minutes to slow down, breathe, stretch, and reconnect with yourself during a special Yoga Session from 11-11:45 a.m. at the Joyner Park Amphitheater. No prior yoga experience is required! Whether you’re new to yoga or have an established practice, everyone is welcome. Please bring your own yoga mat and water bottle.
Diwali is India’s biggest and most cherished festival of the year. Known as the “Festival of Lights,” Diwali symbolizes the victory of light over darkness and good over evil, showcasing the indomitable human spirit.
