Oak City Gliders v Wake Forest Fungo
In the heart of the Old North State, the Oak City Gliders are the only baseball team to be in contract with the City of Raleigh, as our home games are played at Optimist Park. With a team in the Capital, we had to pay homage to North Carolina's reputation of being First in Flight and our team is ready to soar to new heights this season. Raleigh is also know as the City of Oaks and there are no shortage of trees at the ballpark, which is perfect for those sunny summer nights.
Wake Forest FUNGO is a college summer baseball team featuring college players from multiple states, including North Carolina. These players play during the summer to stay in baseball shape for their respective college’s spring season.
