South Wake Conservationists' Kids in Nature Day at Lake Benson Park

The goal of this event is to connect kids with nature through fun, interactive, and hands-on activities. By encouraging the next generation to embrace the natural world, this event is meant to inspire and empower kids to make a difference for wildlife and their habitat. Attended by 883 area children and parents last year, Kids in Nature Day 2024 promises to be even bigger and better this year, with over 20 state, county, and municipal agencies and conservation-based non-profits and 50+ volunteers participating!
