Farm School at The Feathered Farm

- Cost: $13.50 per student. Sibling discount. One free parent.
Spend your afteroon letting the kids explore our 11 acre farm while you and other homeschool parents connect and collaborate. Each week we will cover something new. It could be foraging, or caring for our cows, horses, goats, rabbits, chickens or pigs. We may plant a garden, move hay create rabbit sensory boxes, watch the farrier trim the horses hooves, help trim goat hooves, etc. We promise to learn AND give the kids time to have their own creative play too.
This event is intended for children ages 5-17. If you are bringing younger siblings the parent must stay on premises AND stay with their children to ensure their safety and the safety of our animals. Parents, we will have lounging areas for you to chat and picnic tables if your needing a work space. Come enjoy all the serenity, creativy and freedom the farm has to offer.
Please let the children know that we are here to have fun. Please no chasing any of the animals. Keep all gates and doors closed that are closed. Please do not climb on the fences. Please do not enter a pasture with horses or cows without a staff worker guiding you. Please wear closed toe shoes (boots are best). Refunds are available with 48 hours notice or vouchers if notified prior to the start of the event.
