Birding for All at Historic Yates Mill Park

Celebrate #YearOfTheTrail and Birdability Week 2023! Join park staff to look for year-round species and migratory visitors. Birders of all experience levels are welcome! We will start on the paved back porch of the visitor center and proceed down a ramp to a wooden structure that overlooks the pond. For those who are interested, we will then take a slow walk on the paved sidewalk in front of the visitor center to the Mill Pond Boardwalk to look for more birds; please note that the boardwalk's railing height may obscure the view for seated visitors. Binoculars will be available to borrow for anyone who needs them.
