Finley Frenzy Triathlon

Each year the YMCA of the Triangle introduces more than 100 kids ages 7 - 14 to triathlons. We host a youth triathlon in North Raleigh in the late summer.
The course is age-specific and kids compete in certain age groups. The 2024 Finley Frenzy takes place August 25 on the grounds of the A.E. Finley YMCA.
The YMCA also offers a five-week training program to help participants get prepared for the race.
Course Lengths
Ages 7 - 9
Swim: 75 yards
Bike: 2 miles
Run: one half mile
Ages 10 - 11
Swim: 175 yards
Bike: 4 miles
Run: 1 mile
Ages 12 - 14
Swim: 175 yards
Bike: 4 miles
Run: 1 mile
