NC Museum of Art's Visual Storytelling Workshop for Teens

Join North Carolina artist Napoleon Wright II for an illustration, animation, and storytelling workshop inspired by our special exhibition Ruth. E Carter: Afrofuturism in Costume Design (on view through August 6).

This hybrid three-session workshop introduces teens to the exhibition and takes them through the creative process to bring stories to life through illustration, animation, or film. The in-person sessions are on July 8 and July 29, and the virtual session is on July 15.

The program is open to teens ages 13–18 of all experience levels. Participants are expected to bring their own computers or tablets.

Virtual session: Saturday, July 15, 1–4 pm
