Apex Fireworks Frenzy at Hunter Street Park

Kick off your Fourth of July celebrations with an evening of food, games, a uniquely-Apex drone show, and a spectacular fireworks display!

This year's event features:
Parade of Wheels, a beloved tradition from our Olde Fashioned Fourth of July event, will be moved to Fireworks Frenzy to kick off the festivities. Parade riders will start on Hunter Street and roll down toward Mason Street to reach the Apex Fire Department's Splashdown along Mason Street.

Schedule of Events
4:00 pm: Parade of Wheels participants should begin lining bikes up along Hunter Street. Kids are invited to decorate bikes, wagons, tricycles, or other non-motorized vehicles in red, white, and blue.
4:30 pm: The Apex Fire Department will host their Splashdown immediately follow the Parade! Bring a towel to dry off after.
5:00 pm – 9:00 pm: Food trucks and fun
9:00 pm (tentatively, based on weather conditions): Drone light show begins
9:20 pm: Break in programming to allow attendees with sensory sensitivities to exit the event or visit our sensory-friendly space at the Apex Senior Center
9:30 pm (tentatively, based on weather conditions): Fireworks show begins

Beginning after 5 pm: Spectators can set up chairs along Ambergate Station (outside of the fireworks safety perimeter), at the Hunter Street Park soccer field, and along Hunter Street between Salem Street and Mason Street.

No pets, alcohol, smoking, tents, or personal or commercial fireworks / sparklers are allowed at this event.
