Girl Scout Troop 782 Food Drive Supporting North East Wake Backpack Buddies

Girl Scout troop 782 is working on their Bronze Award, the highest level award for Junior Girl Scouts, and we need your help. We are hosting a food drive supporting the children of Wake County through the North East Wake Backpack Buddies. N.E.W. Backpack Buddies provides food every weekend to children who are identified as “food insecure” by school teachers and guidance counselors. There are approximately 400 children receiving weekly bags.
Most needed items include:
Spaghetti O’s/Beef A Roni
Mac & Cheese - Easy Cup
Ramen Noodles - Individual
Cereal - Individual
Oatmeal
Applesauce packets
Fruit cups
Cheese and crackers
Cereal or granola bars
Goldfish - individual packets
Sweet treat - individual cookie packets
