1st Annual International Children’s Day at City of Raleigh Museum

The Friends of the City of Raleigh Museum in collaboration with Artist Studio Project are hosting the 1st Annual International Children’s Day.

This is a free, bilingual event.

This event is intended for children of all ages pre-school to seniors. We all have an inner child and stories have a way of awakening the magic in all of us. Come enjoy a fun-filled day of storytelling for the whole family.

Here’s the schedule, subject to change:

All day: Craft Table
10 a.m.: Pre-School Storytime – WCPL
10:30 a.m.: Ramya s. Kapadia — Bharatanatyam dancer, choreographer, instructor and a Carnatic vocalist
11:15 a.m.: JEGHETTO — World-renowned puppeteer
12 p.m.: Criss Cross Mangosauce — offers bilingual (English/Spanish) programs
1 p.m.: Milbre Burch — Grammy-nominated spoken word recording artist and internationally known storyteller
2 p.m.: Donna L. Washington — award-winning storyteller
