Take a Lichen to It

What is lichen and why is it used by scientists? Learn to love lichen and make some community science observations with us.

This program will involve both indoor seated activities and outdoor activities covering a paved distance of about .5 mile with some slight inclines.

Family Wildlife Series program is most appropriate for ages 5yr. and up with a fully participating adult, but younger ages are welcome (unless noted otherwise).

All members of the family in attendance must be registered to attend the program – if you are unable to register a family member, either the size limit of the class has been reached, or that child does not meet the age limit to attend. Adults without kids are welcome!
