Strides for Speech is a 5K and Fun Run perfect for the whole family! This accessible and inclusive race will be held at Joyner Park on smooth, paved courses. Both races are open to runners, walkers, wheelchair-users, and anyone else looking to get active. The goal of Strides for Speech is to support Triangle Aphasia Project's community programming for people with aphasia while providing a space for people with all abilities to get moving.
Fun Run
The Fun Run takes place on a .2 mile loop. The course is paved and smooth, with only a slight incline/decline. Wheelchairs, walkers, scooters, strollers and kids are welcome. The center of the loop is wide open to allow for your cheering squad to join!

12:00 - 5K Start
12:00 - 1:00 - Complimentary BBQ Sliders and Iced Tea provided by Smith's Smokehouse and Smoothies
