Join us for our annual family fun day and "friend raising" event to celebrate the services of Project Enlightenment. We've got a great list of returning vendors and maybe a few new surprises! If you've never attended a Palooza event, you need to come see what it's all about. Here's just a glimpse at what Palooza has to offer:
DJ Ben is on site with feel good family friendly tunes.
Booths offer information for families about area resources and activities from healthcare providers to inclusive playspaces.
Staff from Wake County Public Libraries and Smart Start Imagination Library will be on site with info about access to reading resources.
Meet a local team mascot- past guests have included Muddy the Mudcat, Sal the Salamander, and NCSU's Mr. Wuf. Who will show up this year?
Enjoy a free shaved ice treat and have lunch at the food truck.
Enter the raffle to win great family prize baskets of books, crafts, games and more!
A police officer or firefighter usually drops in to meet the kids, often bringing a vehicle or canine companion along.
Each child will receive a swag bag filled with great information and goodies from our sponsors and vendors (while supplies last).
And, as always, Project Enlightenment staff will be on hand to help connect you with their vast array of services.
No parking allowed on Florence St. on event day. Parking is available along most streets and in nearby parking decks a short walk from the event location.
