Earth Day at Western Wake Farmers Market

This year's theme is "Morrisville Roots for Trees." The event will include education and booths on sustainable topics including composting and vermicomposting—with live worms, native plants and trees, rain barrels, recycling, hands-on children's activities, and solar energy.

Attendees can also participate in a passport adventure game for those that visit particular farmers’ market vendors and education booths. Completed passports will be entered into a raffle to win one of four Western Wake Farmers' Market gift baskets. There will also be a giveaway for a 10-15 gallon native hardwood tree from Davey Resource Group.
