Wake Forest July 4 Children's Parade

The Fourth of July Celebration revelry continues Friday, July 4, with the annual Children's Parade.
All area youngsters are invited to hop on their bicycles or be pulled along in a wagon as part of a "walking parade" designed just for them!
No registration is required and participation is free, but bicyclists must wear their helmets!
The lineup begins at 10 a.m. at the intersection of North Main Street and West Juniper Avenue, near the Wake Forest Historical Museum, and the parade begins at 10:30 a.m. along North Main Street. The parade will end at the Wake Forest Community House, 133 W. Owen Ave.

Free parking for the July 4 festivities is available at Holding Park, 133 W. Owen Ave., and to a lesser extent at the Wake Forest Historical Museum.
A good option is the gravel lot at the intersection of South Avenue and South Main Street graciously made available by Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
