Let's Explore Bats at Prairie Ridge Ecostation

Some may think of bats as spooky, especially at this time of year – but they play important roles in our ecosystems! Join us as we learn about the bats that call North Carolina home. Designed for early childhood audiences (ages 7yrs and under), this program will provide interactive and engaging activities as we learn about the bats found at Prairie Ridge, and maybe in your own neighborhood!
This is a free, drop-in program beginning at 10:00am at the picnic tables right outside of the Nature PlaySpace. Be sure to wear appropriate clothes for the weather and bring a water bottle. Trails are mulch, dirt or grass and small hills are included — trail strollers or baby carriers are recommended for our smallest visitors. Bring a picnic and enjoy the day.
