Town of Fuquay-Varina - Independence Day Celebration

Join us as we celebrate Independence Day with music, fireworks, food trucks, and fun on July 1 at South Park! Get ready for our biggest fireworks display yet as we celebrate the United States' 250th anniversary.

Live Music
Enjoy live music from Bounce starting at 6:30 pm! Bounce brings non-stop energy to the stage, playing your favorite dance and sing-along songs from multiple decades.
During the band's intermission, the party continues with line dancing in front of the stage.

Splash Pad
The South Park Splash Pad will be open from 6:00 to 8:30 pm. Learn more about Splash Pad membership and fees.
Town Swag and Kids' Craft
Stop by the Town tent (located near the Community Center) for giveaways and a craft station while supplies last.
Photo Ops
Wear your most patriotic ensembles and pose for a family picture at our photo station near the Town tent.
Bring a blanket or chair and get there early to claim the best location to view the fireworks. The event is alcohol-free. Coolers are allowed. The Town of Fuquay-Varina ordinance prohibits all animals in the event area, so please leave your animals comfortably at home.

Event parking is available at 308 Jones Road. Accessible parking is available at the Community Center (820 S Main St, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526).
When the lots are full, attendees may find public parking in Downtown Fuquay or at Fleming Loop Park.
Be aware of marked “no-parking” areas. Follow the direction of police officers as they direct traffic, and please be patient with traffic.
