
Abilities Tennis Association partners with the USTA, local Community Tennis Associations, private tennis clubs, school systems, and Parks and Recreation departments within the state of North Carolina to provide tennis programs for people with intellectual disabilities. ATANC currently offers clinics in approximately 30 locations across the state and hosts seven statewide tournaments. Designed for ages 8 and above, all of our programs are free of charge to all participants.
Abilities Tennis brings specialized knowledge, connections with local coaches, and expertise in delivering adaptive tennis instruction at many levels. ATANC also provides equipment, curriculum, training for coaches and volunteers, and extended programming such as tournaments, play days, exhibition matches, and leagues.
