Oak City Lacrosse Academy

Oak City Oak City Lacrosse Academy was created by former lacrosse players who want to provide our community with a youth sports experience that combines great coaching with developmentally appropriate instruction. All coaches are in the USA Lacrosse coach certification pipeline. Most of our head coaches have achieved a Silver, Gold or Platinum USA Lacrosse certification. Coaches are certified at Bronze or higher. We provide athletes and parents with a family-friendly environment and high-impact coaching of young players. We excel at providing a great youth sports experience through lacrosse.

We offer youth lacrosse for the Spring and Fall and we structure our trainings around those age groupings for the Fall and Spring seasons.

LOCATION: Oak City Plays home games and practices in Raleigh and North Raleigh.
Typical Locations Include:
Centennial Campus Middle School
Blue Jay Point
Baileywick Park
Briar Creek Park
Carroll Middle School
and other fields in the Raleigh and North Raleigh area.

AGE GROUPS: We offer youth lacrosse to:
Grade 1-2 (small-sided games to maximize player touches and involve more players in the game)
Grade 3-4 (plays 10v10 or 8v8 depending on the opponent)
Grade 5-6 (plays 10v10 format)
Grade 7-8 (plays 10v10 format)
We structure our teams, training and games around those age groupings and provide cohort-based training to each age group.
