Barn Buddies is our barnyard skills program. Participants work on sensory input, motor planning and social skills at the barn. We have activities with miniature horses, gardening, and on the trails similar to our Forest Friends.
This program is suitable for children 7-11 years old. For this age group, the mini horses will not be ridden but are incorporated into the sessions for therapeutic goals. Nature is such a great setting to work on friendship-building and other developmental skills! Please join us!!!
We are offering the program on Sunday afternoons in a cohort model (you’re reserving a block of sessions where your child will be attending with the same participants week after week.)
Summer Cohort begins June 14. The fee will allow us to pay the barn and our occupational therapy clinicians to run the program. We will invoice you after everything is confirmed.
Pre-register on the website. A screening call will occur before payment is requested. We'll take the first 6 registrants and provide payment instructions after that.
