Activate Good's Summer of Service

Activate Good is excited to host our annual Summer of Service!
This year, volunteers ages 11–18 will have the opportunity to engage more deeply with their community through thoughtfully designed half-day service camps.

Summer of Service offers structured, hands-on experiences that encourage youth to work collaboratively, strengthen leadership and life skills, learn about a variety of causes across the Triangle, and earn service hours while making a meaningful impact in their community.

Session Information
Each Summer Session will include 5 engaging half-days from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM (project times may vary slightly, and any updates will be shared in advance).

Throughout the week, participants will serve at a different nonprofit each day, learning about local community needs and contributing in meaningful ways. A detailed session schedule, including project locations, times, and any additional instructions, will be shared before the session begins.

All projects will take place throughout the Triangle (most are in or within a 10 min. drive of Raleigh).

Session #1 (Ages 11-14): June 15-19
Monday, 6/15 – Crowder County Park
Tuesday, 6/16 – Salvation Army of Wake County
Wednesday, 6/17 – The Great Raleigh Cleanup
Thursday, 6/18 – Trees for the Triangle
Friday, 6/19 – Oak City Cares

Session #2 (Ages 11-14): July 20-24
Monday, 7/20 – The Poe Center for Health Education
Tuesday, 7/21 – The LGBT Center of Raleigh
Wednesday, 7/22 – Salvation Army of Wake County
Thursday, 7/23 – Trees for the Triangle
Friday, 7/24 – Made4Me

Session #3 (Ages 15-18): August 10-14
Monday, 8/10 – Salvation Army of Wake County
Tuesday, 8/11 – Note in the Pocket
Wednesday, 8/12 – The Great Raleigh Cleanup
Thursday, 8/13 – Trees for the Triangle
Friday, 8/14 – Special Olympics of North Carolina

How much is it to register?
Each weekly session is $250 per youth. Activate Good offers full- and partial-scholarship options.
