During your child's first dental visit, Dr. Qureshy will examine your child’s teeth, gums, and mouth. Next, a professional cleaning will remove any stuck on food debris and plaque from the tooth surfaces. If necessary, x-rays will be taken of your child’s teeth to find out if the teeth are erupting properly and if there are any signs of hidden decay. During your visit, Dr. Qureshy may also teach you how to properly remove plaque and food from your child’s teeth to establish good dental habits early on.
